Hi! My name is Anki.  Since I retired a few years ago I can exercise my favorite occupation and passion: PAINTING
If you take a look at my gallery, you will see that I like to paint horses, seascapes, landscapes ......
I live in Spain since I retired and here the colours are so beautiful and bright, which gives me a lot of inspiration.
When I lived in France I started to paint nudes. My teacher Günther Kühlenz was an excellent teacher and we painted after life models.
Of course here in Spain where the sun shines most days of the year it is lovely to paint outside at the sight.
Most important for me are the colours. My paintings  should make you  happy and the colours should be harmonious.

My masterteachers are:

Regis Bonicel, Beziers France

Regis Bonicel was my first teacher. He taught me principaly aquarelles, watercolors and one can say that he gave me the passion by beleiving in me and telling me that I had talent. Regis taught me lots of techniques around aquarelle painting and later acrylics.

Günther K, Beaux Arts, Béziers France

Günther K has been very important for my art. He made me progress and gave me a lot of "keys" for painting. He is also a famous artist exhibiting in several countries.

Günther K recently exhibited his paintings  in Montblanc, France.

His art can also be seen in Galerie Sabrina Falzone, Milan , in Naples, in Mantoe and now also in Insbrück,  Austria and will follow Genova, Italy.

He paints using pure pigments and and his paintings are  colourful and pure.

Fina Girona, Almoradi, Spain

My lovely painting teacher here in Spain.

Pablo Follana, Almoradi, Spain

My drawing teacher in Spain.

And my internetmasters:

NOLAN, paintbasket.com.  New Zeeland

Nolan from New Zeeland made me take a big step forvards. It has been very interesting to paint along with his classes. Different from having your teacher beside you. I really have progressed with: www.paintbasket.com.
The possibility of being able to look at the videos as many times as you want and to stop and go back on the video helps a lot when you are learning. And also because it is so nice and friendly.
On Paintbasket there are lots of different classes in all mediums: Acrylics, Oils, Watercolor, Pastels and Drawings and even more information. Have a look. You can also watch  some of the classes on Youtube.

IGOR SAHAROFF, Russia (on Youtube)

Very interesting tutorials, although it is in russian. He paints in oils "a la prima".

PAUL TAGGART, Skottland. paul)

This is very high class tutorials

Power of art. (By Simon Schama) on YouTube
Very interesting stories about our great painters (in real oxford English, I think?) Very nice to listen to his reports. Each one takes about one hour.
Look for Van Gogh, Rembrandt, Picasso, David and  many more.
